Who’s leading the floral industry forward? Nominate them for IFPA’s 2025 award
Creativity, leadership and dedication are the hallmarks of the International Fresh Produce Association’s Floral Marketer of the Year Award. Nominations are now open, and IFPA invites all members of the floral supply chain to nominate a standout professional who is shaping the future of the mass-market floral industry.
This prestigious award honors one exceptional individual who has demonstrated visionary leadership, inspired innovation and made significant contributions to the growth and success of the floral sector. The 2025 honoree will be recognized at the Floral Reception during The Global Produce & Floral Show in Anaheim, CA, Friday, Oct. 17.
“Whether early in their career or a seasoned professional, the Floral Marketer of the Year exemplifies the passion and creativity that drives our industry forward. Each year, more members join our flourishing floral community, amplifying our collective voice and influence, and shaping the future of the industry,” said Colleen Fagundus, IFPA director of floral.
Nominees must be IFPA members in good standing and meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated dedication and distinction in serving the mass-market floral industry
- Proven impact and contributions to floral retailing
- Recognized as an industry influencer
- Inspirational leadership that motivates others in the floral community
The 2024 winner, Jason Levin of Dos Gringos, encourages members to submit nominations.
"This award belongs to the entire Dos Gringos team. We believe sunflowers should be part of everyday life – not just reserved for special occasions. Science backs what we’ve always known: having fresh flowers in your home boosts your mood, lowers stress, and brings more smiles to your day,” Levin said. “With people, freshness innovation, and heart at the core of everything we do, our team is on a mission to make sunflowers as common – and as essential – as a bundle of bananas. This recognition fuels that mission.”
The IFPA floral community continues to thrive, playing a vital role in the broader produce and floral ecosystem. This award reflects IFPA’s commitment to recognizing excellence and fostering leadership across all segments of the floral industry.
Nominations close on Sept. 8.
