Maria E. Allred, a longtime member of the staff at Golden Rule Produce, died April 18 in Alamo, TX. She was 53. Born in Mexico, Ms. Allred was formerly of Alamo and had lived in Edinburg, TX, for 24 years. She was employed by Golden Rule in McAllen, TX, for 24 years, most recently as the produce sales company's office manager. Her husband, Ronald Dean Allred, is a buyer and sales representative for Golden Rule. Ms. Allred was a member of Abundant Grace Community Church in Edinburg. In addition to her husband, Ms. Allred is survived by three sisters, Esperanza Gomez and Manuela Cuellar, both of
