House Foods Holding USA is returning to the New York Produce Show with a slate of innovations and a continued commitment to expanding the Franklin Farms brand beyond tofu into a broader range of plant-based products.

The show remains a key platform for connecting with buyers, showcasing new items and emphasizing the company’s clean-label approach to plant-forward eating.

“We have exhibited at the NY Produce Show for many years and look forward to the 2025 show in December,” said Katsutoshi Mizuno, head of marketing for the company. “Our brand, Franklin Farms, has released two exciting new product lines: Organic Super Firm Tofu and Ready Bake Tofu Kits.”

Those new additions represent the company’s strategy of aligning closely with consumers’ demands for convenient, nutritious and versatile plant-based foods that fit easily into everyday meals.

The sales team will be on site at the show this year, and Mizuno said the strategy is built around efficiency and exposure.

“In addition to the excitement of introducing new products, we believe this is a valuable opportunity to introduce our wide range of products, from tofu to plant-based foods, to many customers at once,” Mizuno said.

With tofu remaining a foundational item for the company and Franklin Farms continuing its growth with veggie balls, veggie burgers, tempeh, seitan and more, the team intends to highlight both their traditional strengths and their new innovations.

Visitors will find House Foods Holding USA at booth No. 138, where both the Franklin Farms and House Foods brands will be displayed prominently.

“Our booth display will include our Franklin Farms and House Foods brands with a variety of products displayed,” Mizuno said. “Our new Ready Bake Tofu Kits from Franklin Farms will be available for sampling as well.”

Across the plant-based market, convenience and health are the driving themes shaping consumer decisions.

“Consumers are looking for more convenient products,” Mizuno said. “Our new product ‘Ready Bake’ meets exactly that need. This meal kit allows you to easily add a delicious tofu dish to your table by simply mixing pre-cut tofu with the included seasoning and baking it.”

At the show, the company expects the focus of conversations to remain squarely on clean ingredients and clear benefits.

“Our products are very simple and clean,” Mizuno said. “Consumers seeking healthier foods are looking for products that are free from chemical ingredients. We would like to convey that our range of traditionally made products, such as tofu, seitan and tempeh, will meet the demands that consumers are placing on the industry.”

Networking at the show remains a major priority for those attending as it often leads directly to opportunities for products to be purchased by consumers.
