Red Sun Farms brings fresh approach to Southern Innovations
Red Sun Farms, one of the largest vertically integrated high-tech greenhouses in North America to own and operate farms in Canada, Mexico and the United States, is looking forward to SEPC’s Southern Innovations to introduce a fresh approach to the tradeshow experience by engaging buyers directly to its innovation process.
“Our primary goal is to not only showcase what we’re developing, but also to include buyer feedback and comments as part of that development,” said Harold Paivarinta, vice president of sales and business development for the Kingsville, ON-based company. “By making them active participants, we can ensure our innovations truly meet market needs and create stronger value for our customers.”
Red Sun Farms will be exhibiting at booth No. 304, and company officials boast this is truly a booth attendees will want to come and experience.
“Our design this year is unlike anything you’ve seen before at an SEPC tradeshow — it’s engaging, interactive and built to showcase innovation in a fresh new way,” Paivarinta said. “Red Sun Farms will be unveiling a unique innovation that truly sets us apart — but it’s something you’ll need to experience in person at our booth. We’re keeping the details under wraps because we want attendees to see it firsthand. What we can share is that our latest offering directly aligns with today’s consumer trends, focusing on freshness, flavor and quality.”
Red Sun Farms’ sales and marketing teams will be well-represented at this event, ready to discuss innovation strategies, crop updates and what’s new at the company.
“Our primary expectation for Southern Innovations is to focus on networking and relationship-building,” Paivarinta said. “SEPC provides a valuable platform that unites the produce community, facilitating the renewal of existing connections, the establishment of new partnerships, educational advancements and industry collaboration.”
The team looks forward to forging new relationships that will serve as a foundation for long-term growth and success.
“A successful show provides the opportunity to reconnect with our retail partners, align on shared goals for 2025 and initiate planning discussions for 2026,” Paivarinta said. “Southern Innovations is the ideal platform for launching and testing new ideas because of the unique level of buyer engagement it creates. The show floor encourages meaningful conversations, the education sessions spark fresh perspectives, and the enthusiasm carried through the social events provides additional opportunities to connect.”
As of mid-August, the biggest buzz at Red Sun Farms is the company’s continued commitment to strengthening supplier relationships built on honesty, integrity and transparency.
“We believe these values are the foundation for long-term success,” Paivarinta said. “Additionally, the team remains focused on innovation and growth — constantly reviewing opportunities to bring new ideas, products and processes to the market.”
Over the next year, the company has its sights locked on a continued path of expansion, innovation and growth.
“The greenhouse industry has faced unprecedented challenges in recent years and there’s been a substantial shift in the players as a result,” Paivarinta said. “Red Sun Farms has built incredibly strong, collaborative relationships and we pride ourselves in adhering to our core values while ensuring honesty, integrity and transparency is paramount in all aspects of our relationships. Now, more than ever, we will double-down on what’s made us successful as it will ensure our position in the industry for many years to come.”
