EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — The Eastern Produce Council held its annual Tailgate Dinner Sept. 17, here, at MetLife Stadium, home to the National Football League's Giants and Jets. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the stadium, including the field and press box, before festivities kicked off with a cocktail hour and dinner, followed by an inspirational talk by former New York Giants receiver and special teams player David Tyree, who caught one of the most iconic passes in NFL history when the team beat the previously undefeated New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII. NASHVILLE, TN – The Southeast Produce Council introduced a few changes to this year’s recently completed Southern Innovations 2024 conference and expo, including adding an extra hour to walk the trade show floor. Southern Innovations, which took place from Thursday, Sept. 12, to Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, had over 1,400 people check in and almost 200 exhibitors — the largest Southern Innovations ever.

The Southeast Produce Council returned to Nashville last week for its 2024 Southern Innovations show. This year’s event featured a revamped format and boasted record attendance. The energy could be seen and heard as the show floor was abuzz from start to finish.

NASHVILLE, TN — The Southeast Produce Council kicked off Southern Innovations 2024 with the VIP dinner Wednesday evening, Sept. 11, aboard the General Jackson Showboat. Mike Roberts of Harps Food Stores and chairman of the SEPC board of directors welcomed everyone on board and thanked them for all their work on behalf of the council. The floral industry is together once again at the 2024 CalFlowers Fun 'n Sun Convention in Carlsbad, CA. The opening reception was the ultimate networking opportunity for newcomers and industry veterans alike. The four-day conference kicked off on Wednesday Sept. 4 and promises to deliver first rate educational sessions, floral farm tours and expo experiences.
