Blazer Wilkinson Gee's Foxy brand blueberries have begun arriving on the East Coast. With an expanded offering of high-quality fruit from South America, BWG will now be able to supply its customers with premium blueberries on a nearly year-round basis.
“We’re taking our proven track record of strawberry best practices and developing partnerships with growers across the globe who share our values and attention to detail. This allows our retail partners to keep their blueberry category consistently performing throughout the year,” said Jack Wilkinson, head of sales at BWG.

Dole to launch new pineapple variety at IFPA show
In the early 2000s, the fresh produce research and development team at Dole Food Co. had the idea to bring something new to the pineapple category. They envisioned a new variety that offered a different flavor than their traditional pineapples — more indulgent and balanced, possibly with hints of coconut or other exotic ingredients — but was still true to the company’s century-plus legacy of growing all-natural fruit without GMOs.
Coke with lime — and a $1.6 million twist
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Pharr International Bridge cargo facility intercepted $1.6 million in alleged cocaine concealed in a trailer hauling a shipment of limes.
“As this interception illustrates, our frontline CBP officers continue to shut down significant hard narcotics smuggling attempts utilizing an effective combination of inspection skill, experience and high-tech tools,” said Port Director Carlos Rodriguez, Hidalgo port of entry.
H-E-B names new president
H-E-B promoted Chief Operating Officer Roxanne Orsak to president, effective January 2026. Orsak will succeed Craig Boyan, who will retire at the end of 2026 after 20 years of leadership. Boyan will transition to a senior advisor role, remaining a member of the board of directors and joining the company’s board oversight and advisory committee. In Orsak’s new role as president and COO, she will report to CEO Howard Butt III.
